About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and professional Logistics & Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods, equipment, and occasionally passengers to different destinations across Norway. You will ensure safe and efficient deliveries in compliance with traffic regulations, safety standards, and company procedures.

Please note: This position involves extensive travel and long periods away from home, making it less suitable for individuals who require a stable home presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles for transportation of goods, materials, or passengers.
• Plan and follow optimal routes considering traffic, road, and weather conditions.
• Comply with traffic laws, safety regulations, and internal company guidelines.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks (oil, tire pressure, fluid levels).
• Assist with loading/unloading and ensure cargo is properly secured.
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours, mileage, deliveries, and incidents.
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients and partners.
• Report accidents, technical issues, or traffic violations promptly.
• Use GPS and digital tools for efficient navigation and route planning.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a driver, including trailer towing.
• Valid BE driver’s license (mandatory).
• Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations in recent years.
• Good physical condition with ability to handle heavy loads when required.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of traffic rules and road safety.
• Ability to plan and adapt to unforeseen situations.
• Service-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance.

Working Conditions

• Workplace: Field-based across various locations in Norway, depending on projects.
• Schedule: Full-time; shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Travel: Frequent travel and extended periods away from home are expected.
